#TESTEDTOUGH: MALAYSIA
From the capital city of Kuala Lumpur to the Taman Negara jungle

A journey planned for months, led us to explore the distant land of the Orang Asli tribe, in a combination of modern and ancient culture.
Already from Kuala Lumpur, one has the opportunity to meet the tropical climate of the region, characterized by storms and humidity at intervals.
With the waterproof Omni-Tech jacket as a necessary addition to the bag, Stelios continued his journey with a quick stop at the twin Petronas towers that adorn the center of the capital. Until 2004, they were considered the tallest twin towers in the world.
With our attention focused on our next step and the exploration of the hinterland, a 6 hours long journey layed in front of us to the jungle of Taman Negara, which is home of one of the oldest forests in the world.
The tribe that lives there is called Olang Asli and they inhabit the dense forest for more than 60.000 years, drinking rainwater and accepting only the exchange of products in their transactions.
That step backwards, that cross of the river of comfort, and the will to pursue the adventure and test your resilience in the tropical climate, can be formed in a simple act but it has to be a mental process of a time period. This passion is what makes us #TestedTough.
